More than 300 high-quality jobs in the fields of renewable energies and CO2-optimized building technology will be located at the site.
In addition to office space for established suppliers and service providers, an incubator for start-ups in the field of renewable energies is being created at the site.

Regular tours of the site are also planned in order to impressively demonstrate the innovative technologies and economic efficiency of this pioneering showcase building to the general public.
The ECEE was developed to the highest architectural standards and also serves as a testing ground for new photovoltaic module technologies. Thanks to innovative photovoltaic systems, the energy yield at the site will be quadrupled – A total of 1,500 kWp of photovoltaics will be installed
The location of the ECEE is unique – bordered to the south by the A1 and to the north by the B1, two busy roads with a daily traffic volume of 80,000 vehicles. A modern fast-charging park for electromobility is being built at the main building to meet the needs of commuters and people passing through.
The public fast-charging park for electric mobility ensures additional visitor frequency. During the charging process, visitors have the opportunity to explore the ECEE showroom, enjoy a coffee in a relaxed atmosphere and purchase regional products in the village store.
The ECEE is directly adjacent to the busy A1. The shorter distance to the A1 in combination with the building height of 15.8 meters ensures excellent visibility of the ECEE.
The striking façade not only serves as an eye-catcher, but also offers attractive marketing space for exhibits, display screens and logos.
